Attorney Rich Talarico is the managing partner / owner of Woomer & Talarico LLC. Rich has extensive experience representing individuals and families in cases involving work-related injuries and death, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and insurance bad faith claims.
Early in his career, Rich's success was recognized locally by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. As his career progressed and the wins stacked up, the national organizations began recognizing his achievements. Most recently, Rich has been recognized as the Nation's Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. Rich has also been named a Top 100 Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association, which also identified Rich as a Top 25 medical malpractice attorney, a Top 25 motor vehicle law attorney, as well as a Top 10 Insurance Bad Faith attorney. Other notable awards include being named a Top 10 Attorney in Pennsylvania by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys.
Rich made a huge splash with a huge verdict he obtained in the case of Deivert v. Pittsburgh Chauffer, LLC, which received coverage in local and national media, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Philadelphia Inquirer. That verdict was also recognized with a feature article in the National Verdict Search Publication.
Throughout his career, Rich has recovered millions upon millions of dollars for his clients. Accordingly, Rich is a proud member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a group comprised of top attorneys who achieve 7-figure settlements and verdicts. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of clients find Rich through word of mouth, which is a testament not only to the results but also to the way he treats his people. Rich is well known in the legal community for his bold personality and command of the courtroom.

George E. Clark

George Clark is a partner at Woomer and Talarico who focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and social security disability claims. George has more than a decade of experience representing injured workers and has negotiated settlements resulting in millions of dollars for his clients. He has successfully briefed and argued appeals in front of the Workers Compensation Appeals Board as well as the Commonwealth Court, some of which went on to be published opinions.
He has successfully represented thousands of social security disability clients, resulting in millions of dollars in benefits for his clients. He has successfully appealed social security claims to both the Appeals Council and the Federal Court level. George also has experience representing clients in personal injury cases, including slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice cases.
Attorney Clark strives to satisfy his clients' expectations, resulting in many referrals from past satisfied clients, who appreciated his dedication and competence.

Michael E. Megrey

Attorney Mike Megrey focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury accidents, slip and fall accidents, automobile accidents, and medical malpractice. He has been a multiple year honoree as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers, and he has been selected to the Top 40 under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers.
Mike has fought and won many battles for his clients throughout the courtrooms of Western Pennsylvania, including a $1,000,000.00 jury verdict, helping his clients get money for injuries that they suffered because of the neglect of others.
Mike is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law and the Penn State Smeal College of Business. He is also a member of the National Trial Lawyers, Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.

Christopher M. Halesey

Christopher M. Halesey focuses his practice in the area of personal injury claims, including automobile accidents, premise liability claims, and product liability claims.
Chris received his Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting with a minor in economics from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was on the Dean's List. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he went on to earn his J.D.
Chris went on to intern at KPMG, LLP, in the state and local Tax department, where he was hired as a full-time associate after passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam.
Knowing he had a passion for helping people, Chris left the corporate world and sought out a job practicing personal injury law. Since becoming an attorney at Woomer & Talarico, Chris has been successful both inside and outside the courtroom. Most notably, Chris has negotiated numerous settlements in excess of six figures for his clients.

Jamie R. Shorr

Jamie focuses her practice on personal injury matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and product liability.
Jamie graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University. She continued her education at Duquesne University School of Law and earned her J.D. Jamie served as a Senior Staff Editor of the Duquesne Law Review. She also participated in the Wills and Healthcare Directives Clinic, helping individuals in the local community. Jamie was a recipient of the Pro Bono Exemplary Service Award.
While at Duquesne Law, Jamie completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Justice David Wecht of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She also worked for a local medical malpractice firm and an insurance defense firm.
Having experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides, Jamie brings a unique perspective to help zealously advocate for her clients.
Jamie is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and admitted to the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Jack R. Bailey

Jack completed his undergraduate studies at Allegheny College, earning honors as an Alden Scholar and as captain of the Varsity Swimming and Diving team. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he earned his J.D. and served as an editor for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
After being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, Jack worked as an associate attorney at a general practice firm before seeking a position in which he could focus his practice on advocating for clients who have suffered serious injuries. Since joining Woomer & Talarico, Jack has proudly obtained successful results for his clients while providing exceptional service.

Kristin E. Hoffman

Attorney Kristin Hoffman focuses her practice on medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and abuse, and personal injury claims, including automobile accidents, premises liability claims, and product liability claims.
Prior to joining the firm, Kristin worked at a nationally recognized law firm specializing in nursing home neglect and abuse cases. During her years of practice, Kristin obtained significant trial and arbitration experience, serving as co-counsel on several nursing home trials, trying a UIM claim to a favorable verdict and award for her client, and arbitrating several cases to favorable verdicts and awards for her clients. Kristin also obtained appellate experience, briefing and arguing two appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, both with successful results in favor of her clients' positions and one with a published decision in Kohlman v. Grane Healthcare Company, 2022 Pa. Super 118 (July 5, 2022). Additionally, Kristin has negotiated and obtained numerous settlements for her clients and their families.
Kristin is a proud "Double Duke," obtaining a Bachelor's of Arts in International Relations and Spanish with a minor in Political Science from Duquesne University in 2015 and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 2018. During her time in law school, Kristin was a member of the Duquesne Law Review and of the Trial Advocacy Program. Related to Trial Advocacy, Kristin was a member of multiple semifinalist competition teams and received many individual accolades and awards. Most notably, Kristin was selected as the Best Overall Advocate at the Florida State University National Civil Trial Competition in March of 2018. Upon graduation from law school, Kristin was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization whose membership is limited to law students and practicing lawyers who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. Kristin is passionate about trial advocacy and the importance of teaching these skills to the next generation of lawyers. For this reason, Kristin continues to serve as a Trial Advocacy Coach at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Kristin is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and admitted to the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania federal courts.
Kristin is a member of professional organizations, including the Allegheny County Bar Association, Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
On a personal note, Kristin is an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan and named her pets, Rooney (dog) and Sidney (cat), after Pittsburgh sports figures.

Alexander D. Stephenson

Attorney Alexander D. Stephenson joined Woomer & Talarico as a personal injury associate following his completion of law school and passage of the Pennsylvania bar. Alex is a proud "Double Duke," who obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Duquesne University prior to attending Duquesne University School of Law. During his undergraduate and law school studies, Alex was a member of the Trial Advocacy program, obtaining various accolades over the years. During law school and prior to joining the Woomer & Talarico family, Alex worked at another Pittsburgh personal injury firm, where he obtained a vast amount of legal and practical knowledge. He has since continued to grow and become a strong asset as one of our associate attorneys.
Alex found his calling in personal injury law due to being a former personal injury Plaintiff himself. This has driven Alex to fight for his clients in obtaining just compensation for their injuries. Whether it is settlement negotiations or a full-blown trial, Alex is prepared to advocate on behalf of his clients zealously.
On a personal note, Alex is a big sports and music fan. You might catch him at a Pirates, Penguins, or Steelers game, or possibly shopping for records at Jerry's.

Kyle A. Dipre

Attorney Kyle Dipre focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury accidents, slip and fall accidents, automobile accidents, and medical malpractice.
He previously worked for a regional insurance defense firm representing physicians and healthcare professionals in medical malpractice litigation. In addition to handling discovery disputes and motions practice, he first and second-chaired multiple medical malpractice jury trials.
Kyle also clerked for The Honorable Kim Tesla on the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas. As a law clerk, he was exposed to all aspects of trial practice. He also drafted orders and opinions in complex criminal cases.
Kyle graduated in 2022 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he received a full-tuition Eminent Scholarship. During law school, he was an Articles Editor on the flagship law journal, a Hearing Officer for the University Conduct Board, and a Moritz Board Fellow. He also participated in the Civil Law Clinic where he drafted motions, engaged in discovery, and represented clients in court.
In addition to his law degree, Kyle earned a fellowship to pursue a Master of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary. At Princeton, he was an interim student minister for a local congregation where he organized community events and counseled individuals and families. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hope College, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received the Allen D. Verhey Memorial Prize for the most outstanding graduate in his major.

Dennis A. Liotta

Attorney Dennis A. Liotta received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Duquesne University and his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Thomas R Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. He founded and managed the Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Departments at Edgar Snyder and Associates.
Since 2018, Dennis has been certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s section on workers’ compensation law, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Dennis is in the 2009-2023 editions of the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers of America. He has litigated before the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Judges throughout Western Pennsylvania, as well as appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

Jill L. Mullen

Attorney Jill Mullen graduated magna cum laude from Wilson College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science with a minor in Law and Public Policy, earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa for her academic achievements. An avid equestrian, Jill was a member of the intercollegiate dressage and hunt seat teams during her undergraduate years. She brings the same passion and commitment to the practice of law.
Jill pursued her legal education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law on a full tuition scholarship. As a law student, she served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce and gained hands-on courtroom experience as a Certified Legal Intern at the Allegheny County Public Defender’s Office, developing her litigation skills and passion for advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm as a law clerk, Jill developed a foundation in personal injury law, working on automobile accident cases as a law clerk at a general practice firm. Following the successful passage of the Pennsylvania Bar, she was thrilled to become a full-time member of the team.

Kimberly A. Loughman

Attorney Kimberly A. Loughman is a graduate of Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. Guided by ideals of increasing accessibility to the courts for all and advocating for those unsure of how to advocate for themselves, Kim focused her studies on criminal procedure and constitutional law. She also spent several semesters simulating various arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations. Those same ideals - along with an insatiable penchant for learning - led her into the throes of personal injury litigation with Woomer & Talarico.
Kim completed her undergraduate studies at Washington & Jefferson College, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in History. She participated in a pre-legal society and earned memberships to Phi Theta Kappa, the International College Honor Society, and Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society. Fresh out of school, Kim worked as administrative support for several companies across a variety of industries, including health care, robotics, and IT consulting. The law continued to call to her, and after testing the waters with paralegal courses, Kim finally started her journey into the legal realm.
Outside of the office, Kim enjoys baking or curling up with her rescue cats to play video games or watch horror movies.

Noah J. French

Noah earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of South Florida, where he was a member of the Bulls Business Community. He then went on to complete his J.D. at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, where he served as Staff Writer for Juris and was an executive board member of the Healthcare Society.
During Law school, Noah gained valuable hands-on experience through internships with the Honorable Valarie Costanzo, the Public Defender's Office of Washington County, and the Wills and Healthcare Clinic at Duquesne University. These experiences were pivotal in sparking his passion for helping others.
After being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, Noah proudly joined Woomer & Talarico, where he continues to support the firm's efforts in providing quality legal services.
