Angel D’Amico served in the United States Army as a medic. After completion of her military service, she graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at El Paso, with a major in sociology and minor in criminal justice. She continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she earned her J.D. with a certificate in Health Law. She also earned awards in Elder Law and Trial Advocacy. While in law school, she participated in the Veterans Practicum, where she assisted with disability benefit claims and discharge upgrades for veterans who suffered PTSD and were dishonorably discharged. She also completed an internship with the Honorable Judge Mary Jane Bowes in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and worked for Woomer and Talarico as a law clerk. 

After graduating from law school, Angel spent time working for a workers’ compensation defense firm. However, after realizing that her interests remained primarily in representing injured individuals, she returned to Woomer and Talarico. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
